AWS BuildOn 2020

Built for the AWS Build-On hackathon 2020, Silver lion is a comprehensive social health app for the elderly during COVID. Due to COVID 19, many of our senior citizens were left stranded as their usual places of exercise shutdown and they were unable to meet their friends in person. Our app allows users to discover instructors holding fitness sessions whether online or not, thus encouraging a healthly lifestyle. Users can also add these instructors to their instructor list so that they can recommend upcoming events, send feedback, articles and more, and add friends so that they can view what their friends are participating in and join them. This helps to build a community of users uniting for a positive cause during the hard times of COVID 19. False news on whatsapp chats especcially to do with health runs rampant, amplified by COVID 19, and our app contains certified articles that aims to reduce this issue.
